Well, had a great time with Pitchfork and Erathkid but let me tell ya what.. it was WET. We got stuck down there due to massive flooding. We got out about 3:30pm yesterday. Here are some photos: Still a LOT of fun!

Thanks for sharing and being careful, but how did you use that extension cord as a lifeline crossing the creek with it all wound up?

Was that extension cord handy for pulling a Ford or Dodge across..if needed?

Simple water crossing, looks like.
We definitely needed the rain.
Glad you guys out without issue.

If you go anywhere with Pitchfork there is a pretty good chance of getting stuck in the mud, I've learned that the hard way a few times

Glad y'all got out OK. Chris and I left early Sunday, around 0900. Good thing we did, it was scary even then. Great time and saw animals. My Son missed a 230yd, "chip shot" at an axis doe that was being pushed around by a buck in velvet. We ate like kings too. Thanks again, Russ

Oh he ended up using the stick rather than the cord, but could have unwound it if need be. I did not have any rope handy. It was, as always, a good time, no matter if we got rain We will do it again soon! R
