I am looking for a white and black GSP pup for my son. Must be from solid hunting lines and I would prefer it be about 6 months old and ready to start working slowly. We haven't decided on m/f at this point. Thanks

White and black might be difficult to find. I've never seen one hunting. There are a couple of litters on the NSTRA classifieds. http://www.nstra.org/classifieds.htmHere's one. German Shorthairs Title: Shorthair Puppies Ad Submitted: Aug 16, 2016 Puppies sired by Amature Ch "Beam Me Up Scotty". Scotty sire is Crosswind Micro-Chip, his dame is McCredible Pick, (litter mate to Quail Vally Nose) Scotty won 5 first making Amature Ch. He has been in 1 open brace and won 1st. Dame of pups is Grand daughter of Crosswind Truckn Fritz. Pulaski, TN $700 each. 256-278-8199
Quail hunting is like walking into, and out of a beautiful painting all day long. Gene Hill

Black is a no no for a GSP ain't it? I don't think black is allowed by the standard?
"Color : The coat may be of solid liver or a combination of liver and white such as liver and white ticked, liver patched and white ticked, or liver roan. A dog with any area of black, red, orange, lemon or tan, or a dog solid white will be disqualified. "

They make ammo specifically for hunting for a reason!

You can register one with the AKC, but they are disqualified from showing.....I think the "blue" Weimaraner is in the same boat.

We haven't decided on m/f at this point. Thanks the first 6 months are really important to me, I like to introduce noise when they start eating dry food ect & ect.
hold on Newt, we got a runaway
