I just recently got a feeder from a buddy and I set it up yesterday. I whent to test it and the motor just whined and didn't spin. Is my motor burnt up or what's the deal
I don't always exaggerate, I just remember BIG!

Sounds like its locked up. Spray some wd40 into the motor where the shaft is. Corrosion x will probably be better. Will likely have to replace it though

Most motors arent that expensive though, so if it is a good timer.......If what Rickym said doesn't solve it for you.

I would replace the motor and not risk it this close to deer season.

It will drain your battery quick.

Make sure your set screw is tight to the shaft or it will whine and not spin.
