Is there actually good quail hunting around SA? I assume it is day hunting stuff if so?
Sorry, have not really looked local to Austin for quail hunting places as I figured they were all out of my price range heh

Hunting is easy..it's getting permission from your wife that is tough.

To give you an idea of the quail hunting around San Antonio, I hunt in the pan handle  Actually South TX has amazing hunting but it's mostly guided, there are public places in S.TX get your public hunting permit and you will see the locations

Grabbed one so I could find a place to hunt dove, did not think abut quail.
