They really put up an excellent fight. Easily the most powerful freshwater fish that I've ever caught. I put him back in the river to make more baby tigerfish, so I don't know how they taste. I wouldn't be surprised if they were pretty good though.

I recommend them very highly. Here's a picture of a smaller tigerfish and some scenery.

Pardon the lousy picture on this one. The croc on the wall had supposedly eaten some poor woman. The outfitter was issued a problem animal tag by the local tribal council and administered some lead and copper justice:
