Is the Ken Onion addition worth the extra $ over the standard work sharp?

Is the Ken Onion addition worth the extra $ over the standard work sharp? I have not used the other one so I am not sure, but I am extreamly happy w/ the onion. Make sure you buy the leather belt for it, it made a world of difference on finishing.

The work sharp is excellent, but use it with care. Practice on a couple of cheap knives first.

The work sharp is excellent, but use it with care. Practice on a couple of cheap knives first. Start with the kitchen knives, worst to best, make the wife happy while practicing.
for every stereotype there's a prototype don't be the prototype

If all your knives are 20 degree blade sharpen angle the others are good to go, the Ken Onion one allows you to adjust to match your blade angle.
Read and follow the directions or you can round off the points very easy.
