Thanks all, this is the truck I have been looking for, for a long time. I am happy to finally have it, the truck is a beast.

Really nice. I could use a rig like that myself.

My dad sold his 74 a couple of years ago, but it was a hell of a truck. 390/4 speed with the divorced TC.

You got any plans or leaving it as is?

Great truck. My first was a 75 F150 with a 390 w/headers and a 4 bbl backed up by a C6. Dad bought it in 76, we rebuilt it together in 94. Too much HP for a 16yo, wrapped it around a telephone pole and rolled it over one night. Walked away. Still miss it.

Nice, I've got a 78 F-150 regular cab long bed 4X4. I haven't driven it for a while but my youngest grandson wants it when he gets his license. He's 13 now so we have a while to get it all road ready again. I've had it for 27 years and bought it from the original owner.

I had a '79 F-150 single cab long bed and a '78 F-150 single cag short bed, both 4x4. Bought them in '78 and '80. Loved those 2 trucks! the '79 was stolen, the '78 was lifted, I rolled it twice, no injuries. Sold it after the second rollover, downsized to Toyota 4x4. Went from 6MPG to 20MPG. That s back when the gas went to $1 a gallon.

Looks good. You gonna use that to help pull some stumps out of the ground?
