Went on an antelope management hunt in New Mexico. Tag was valid for female or immature buck. Me and my bud shot these 2 fat does first morning. Range is very green with lots of late summer rain. Meat in the freezer, life is good.

Yep terrible. I'll tell you that some jalapeno sausage made out of them should only be fed to the dogs you don't like.....

Well done. 'Miss that country. A good pronghorn is moving up on the bucket list.

I was being sarcastic....I had one processed two years ago and it was great! Had a lot of people tell me they were no good to eat. Nice animals!

LOL, I was reading these comments and was like, ok. Pronghorn is not good to eat. I have never had it. So, truthfully, is it good?

I always get my animals drawn and skinned as soon as humanly possible and on ice if it is warm. I cut up the antelope this morning and cooked a couple steaks for lunch and it was really good and tender.
