Well with the Wyoming season starting Saturday I figured I'd check in. It's been a busy summer. Ive spent the past few months guiding fly fishing trips just outside of Saratoga Wyoming. Fishing season is winding down though and I'll be heading back to Texas in a little over a month. But, I will get to shoot a few birds before I come home. I've been seeing a pretty decent amount of birds over the past two weeks and I have a few good spots scouted out for our opener Saturday. There's not very much water up here so the birds are really concentrated along the rivers. This spot has been holding a bunch of honkers and mallards
I also got a new hunting parter recently. Yellow lab pup I named Aven. 12 weeks old and already retrieving to hand. Looks like he's going to be a heck of a dog. Super smart and really picks up on things fast, and Sage seems to like him too.
