I think the 7pt is over 4 years but im not that great at aging. If he is, hes gotta go. We are allowed one management and one trophy buck on my lease. HE would be a good management deer.

Might want to adjust that camera angle a bit. That's a mature deer. His face, loose jowls, sunken forehead, stout body, heavy mass at the bases but short beams and tines makes me think he's a an old geezer on a downhill slide.

the area directly under the feeder is cleared out but yes that sendero is getting high. Deep South, Willacy County

Never saw the first photo pictured here. Only the one that was whited out from the sun.

Based on this photo, I'd say that deer is at least 6. Maybe older but still in excellent physical condition. Cull time!

He's at least 4, maybe 5. He would die of old age in Lee county because of AR.
