I had one for my X-Sight 1 5-18/5-20 or whatever it was... It's ok, but with the X-Sight, you still have to illuminate the target to see it, then you can lase it. Throwing a laser dot out there only, really doesn't do anything, if you can't see the whole target. Yes, you can see the Laser dot, but you can also see the crosshairs on your target when illuminated. It's not like a laser designator where you see the complete laser line from your laser to the target, you only see the dot. Pic of what I sold and where mounted.

IMHO, save your money for something else.
