For the fellas that hunt both. How would you compare the two?
Would a 30"+ Axis be like a 140" whitetail or even greater?

30" axis= 130" whitetail to me, when you start getting above the 32" Mark that's a big axis but also depends on Mass and tine length.

A 38" axis is like a 200" low fence whitetail. Id say the 35" benchmark is equivalent to the 165" benchmark and 32"/140"
And i agree that mass and caudel length play a big role in a good/great axis

It's hard to compare the two we always started trophy axis at 28" and up with an over 30" being a good one.
You can have a 140" eight point whitetail that is a good one or a 140" 12 that doesent look near as impressive.
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.
