Mama keeping an eye out to make sure her babies are safe

She should of worried about herself

Quick fun hunt and first blood for new 6.5 build. Been busting my butt lately pulling long hours and decided it was time to relieve some stress. This group has been hitting the feeder daily with no pressure. Got of the truck made my stalk to the opening thru the thicket. As I was getting to the opening I could see their little brown bodies under the feeder about 130 yards away. Pulled the legs out on the bipod and went prone. Crawled to the edge of the opening. Couldn't find mama but she finally walked out into the opening. Attempted an ear hole shot but just as I was fixing to let the round off some one a few properties over shot something and everyone spooked but it didn't matter hit her a few inches back and she was DRT.

She will be remembered by 46 children, 34 brothers and 53 sisters.

Love the obituary! Do you have a hog trap? Without guidance those little squealers are prime candidates for being the honored guests at your next BBQ!

True enough. Those little shoats ought to be prime trap fillers.

Poor little Orphans, you should be ashamed of yourself. Does BM know about this?

I would not worry about the "poor" orphans. They are big enough to make a living on their own.

As for momma, she is in a better place, now.

Good job!

I love it, nice weight to it, the grip and height of cheek piece all seemed to work perfectly for me

Only draw back is the attachments you have to buy for bipod and sling, etc. But they are cheap

I did this a few years ago, and the piglets came back, and I almost caught a few by hand in the dark.

I opened up a few similar sized shoats with the 6.5 creedmoor last week. I take every single opportunity I can to kill pigs.

Good job Sir!
You think like me.
I always start at the top of the sounder and work down.
Get the smart and educated ones out of the way and the rest are easier to take down.

Lotsa football sized BBQ piggies right there!

Cheers,
