Saw a work bench for 135.00 in the HF circular.

Wonder if it would be sturdy enough for a rock chunker?

I have the same bench AND an RCBS Rock Chucker and, yes, they work great together. I did end up buying one of these to help mount the press. Worked great.

Just ordered one cheaper than it would cost to go pick up.

These benches can be made rock-solid with the addition of a piece of 1/2" plywood screwed and glued at the back, and on the side with the press.

Kind regards, charlesb

I picked up the below workbench from Home Depot. Cost only $75.00 and it works pretty good. The only challenge with it is the base isn't as wide as I would like and am thinking about adding support at the bottom to provide a little more stability.

Well got the HF table from fed ex tonight when I got home. Much more heavy duty than I expected. Should work just fine for my press and other gear. Pretty sure there will be room for my Blitzenburger fetching jig and a fly tieing vice.

up

I use one of those benches a lot. For suapping presses around, the presses are mounted on 12 inch square 3/4 inch plywood with counter sunk screws and captive nuts put in the bench so to change out presses it is 4 bolts. The bench is mounted on 3/4 inch plywood on the floor and is bolted to the wall
