Really like some kind of reticule that has bdc marks.

In my opinion no. But if you bump it up to a Little more than 150 there are a few if you go to 200 there are a bunch.

Around 150 would be your best bet with a Burris or Nikon or possibly a Vortex.

The entry level nikon stuff is really good for the money, not sure what might be cheaper except maybe an older weaver or something along those lines that would still be pretty good and in the right price range.

Have you checked eBay?

I've seen the vortex crossfire II on eBay 3x9 50mm...it has to bdc marks...it was $149 new. I'm assuming that's a decent scope for the money.

Burris Fullfield II 3-9x40 at right under $200.00 would be my choice.

I've heard really good things about the Patriot and if I were purchasing a so called budget rifle, no question that is what I'd get.

love the gun, but the "dead ringer" scope on it is awful.
