Alamo Precision Rifles 270 winchester Trued Remington 700 action 24" 1-10 twist Premium air gauged Douglas #4 barrel with ratchet barrel flutes HS Precision stock Side bolt release Hex cut bolt shroud Shilen trigger set a 2 lbs Double Diamond bolt fluting APR custom bottom metal Custom bolt knob Graphite cerokote bolt, bottom metal, and barrel flutes. Titanium cerokote action and barrel Leupold VX-3 4.5-14 with side focus and Boone and Crockett reticle Talley LW ring mounts With less than 30 rds thru the barrel, it shot a 1/2" group at 100 yards with Nosler 130 gr Accubond factory ammo and just over 1/2" with 140 gr Hornady SST loaded by Dallas Reloads. This load wasn't tuned for my rifle, just a load Chad uses on several other 270's he loads for. To say that I'm impressed, is an understatement. Very happy with my new rifle!

Looks like a true "bean field" set up to me, really nice
Is the scope far enough back for you to comfortably get a full field of view at 14X without crawling the stock?
maybe I'm the one with no neck and baby arms.....
looking forward to the load Chad ends up with for you.

Heard lots of good from Alamo. Once you go custom, you're ruined forever. Glad you're happy with it, it looks very nice.

I started with a rifle from Daniel Hardy, then GAP, the accurate Ordnance and now alamo is building one for the wife. Jason is good people and turns out a great rifle

Interesting to see something new. Think its the first custom 270 I have seen built on here. Rifle looks great and sounds like it shoots better

How fast was the turnaround? Do u know if he is loaded with rifles to work on right now?

How fast was the turnaround? Do u know if he is loaded with rifles to work on right now? About 6 months. Not sure about their current work load. Give them a call....
