Hunted with Ranger Creek on Monday. Hunted over sunflowers in a group of about 10. Birds were thick as snot until 8am when I finished up my limit. Then for the next 30 min to 1hr there were lots of singles and doubles trickling by. Couldn't find a buddy to come along (note to self: get new friends), but fortunately one of the guides hung out and chatted until the shooting got crazy. I'm a big fan of these guys and the field they put us on was lights out. I'll be heading out that way in a couple weeks and look forward to giving these guys more of my money.

Also got to break out the new( to me) Benelli M2 20ga as well. I was glad that I was in a target rich spot cause I wasn't sure how I'd adjust to half the payload.

No pics cause 15 birds on the bumper of a Subaru Outback doesn't look all that cool... grin

I tell you what, it would make majority of Subaru owners shake in their teva's!

Hahaha. I always get the look over from lesbians on the road. Almost all of them are disappointed when they see me driving their flagship lesmobile.

I"m always curious why hunters seldom give the location, are they afraid someone else will hunt there??? Then I go to rangercreek home page and they dont tell where they are --------- West Tx ------- lol soooooo I guess they are in El Paso. It gives 2 counties that no one ever heard of ------------ give us a city you are close to if you want people to know where you are. . -------- then I look and it is an aggie that made the web page --- oh,, ok,,, I get it.

I can give you latitude and longitude of the field we hunted but that's not really my prerogative. I'd just call Justin and ask him where his fields are.

North of Abilene. Dove everywhere. Saw tons driving back from our hunt today. Same place the dove have been for the past 10 years I have been hunting out there.

There are no dove or ducks for that matter in the Abilene area! It's all lies!

I also love it when people try to stir the pot and look Ignorant in the process of doing it.

Okay I'm not stirring the pot,I'm just plain asking what town are you located in??
It's kinda needed to know before one considers booking a hunts..
Just saying??????????

They are a chick-ish magnet of the wrong variety unless you're looking to be on a co-ed softball team!

Thanks for the update, we were going to head up to your area there for couple days, i talked to a older fellow with his
grandson at a local diner here, and he said great birds for 2 days then they were gone, he had access to private ranch south
of town, about 700 acres, with 2 ponds.

So may postpone our north trip a couple weeks.......

thanks again......

hunt safe.
