How has the dove hunting been on public land? Is it worth the $48 bucks? Is it crowded and safe hunting with a bunch of people you don't know? Are the doves there?

If you're doing it just for dove, then maybe not. It's been really hard to find doves after day 1. If you intend to hunt some of the other critters the AHP makes available, then yeah, it's worth the $48.

Agree with rawtoes and pigplinker!! Went out to cooper WMA and saw a couple birds. but if you have any interest in hogs its totally worth it!! Sign everywhere once it gets cooler they will be moving.
