The new lease I got last year was over run with hogs August through December. When I say over run, I mean that at any given time there was 75 to 150 hogs on 150 acre area. Then all of the sudden in January they disappeared until last weekend when they started coming back.

did they disappear when y'all quit feeding and show up when you started again?

Sat in the the tree stand for about two hours Saturday, but the piggies were a no show. Had the Therocell going and the wind was constantly swirling which had me wondering if they smell the Thermocell and if they are alarmed to it?

Ya know, I am kind of wondering the same thing? It seems like whenever I have my Thermocell chugging along I never see or hear anything. For as dumb as these things are theyre pretty damn clever, so it wouldnt surprise me.

Make sure you are using the hunting cartridges as they have an earth scent.. Not the back yard ones those smell!

No, we fed year round. They just disappeared literally. Only thing we had on cameras from Jan to now were 2 black boars.
