Here is my set up. I was able to put an arrow through THREE hogs before they would quit coming back. I almost got a fourth. First time I have ever came that close to emptying my quiver within a time frame of 5 minutes.

We ate one of them this past weekend. I generally just take the backstrap.

Very delicious.

COuld have done some baby back ribs too, those look like a bunch of babies. How big were the three you shot?

The one we ate yesterday was the black sow to the right. She was probably about 125 lbs. Really my preferred size.

I ended up shooting two sows and one piglet. I could not find the piglet, so I did not recover that one. 95 degrees in East Texas and thick undercover meant I gave it all of about 15 minutes to recover each hog. I am not that desperate for food, although I do always try to recover and at least take the backstrap from what I shoot (unless it smells really bad).

Just good clean fun until deer season comes around.
