Any of you need to use a magnifying glass for case inspection?

Didn't use to, but as I get older I am starting to find a round magnifer/light is a handy addition to the bench.

I use a cheap stereo microscope that I scored at a pawn shop for five bucks. - You get amazing detail, see things that you never imagined.

Nice smooth, shiny cases look like a dirt road full of pot-holes. Stressed and stretched brass becomes impossible to overlook.

They are a lot of fun with bugs, edges on knife blades, and hundreds of other items too.

It's a real eye-opener, and I have found that I can hold my digital camera up to one of the eye-pieces for capturing images.

I'm farsighted. Worth a try.

I keep a headset one on all my work benches. As you get older you need them for small items.
