Never been drunk enough to try it.

I've had it several times and didn't like it very much. Tasted like real chewy chicken with a fishy aftertaste. Could be the way it was handled and prepared.
In the end, it's not the years in your life that count, it's the life in your years.

When my in-laws from up north come down, they like me to make them a batch of rattlesnake chili. It comes out pretty good. I think they believe we eat it all the time in Texas.

Have eaten it several times. To me its "cool factor food" I would never really care to make a meal of it. Have killed some very large snakes and they have next to no meat on them. If you don't parboil them or something they are also very chewy and tuff. Have fried them and grilled them, I don't see what is so great about them as far as eating.
It's hell eatin em live

If you have to mix steak sauce with it that tells you something.

Never had it fried, always grilled with BBQ sauce. Always ate mine the night I killed them. Kind of sad I haven't seen any this year

I can't get past there main form of food is rodents. You need to the gut/skin the snake first before cooking and not eat them guts and all.

I once drank muddy water out of a hoof print and was dang glad to get it.
