Have any of yall had any experience with a skiff? I was looking for a 16x38 or 18x38 GD hull, but came across a 14x38 cypress/fiberglass skiff. I know it is small, and I will not be using it for open water, only using it in the marsh and local refuges. It has a 9hp longtail on it and it will be used primarily as a 1/2 man boat. The owner has given me a lot of history on it and it is an older boat, the kind of boat you read about in the old duck hunting "tales". It has a nostalgia about it that makes me think of the kind of hunts I dreamed about the as kid the night before a hunt. Anyway, what are your thoughts, I almost want the dang thing just because of the history alone.
