I'm loading up for a weekend at http://www.bigoakbowhunting.com/ . Got a discount on the hunt by being in the right place at the right time and making a decision after having a couple/four Crown and DPs. But hey, that's why I got the Hoyt Carbon Spyder as well and it's been letting stuff bleed ever since. Hopefully it will let a couple of pigs and an Axis doe bleed right into the ice chest this weekend. I will try to post up from there if I can.

Saw everything but what I was there to shoot. Lot's of fun watching different animals around all the time. I will post some pics after I get them uploaded to photobucket. With Tapatalk you can just post them but here it takes an extra step. Excellent accommodations. True southern hospitality and cooking. Very nice blinds and stands for every wind direction. I really enjoyed spending the weekend there and visiting with my hosts. I would recommend it to anyone.

I did muff a shot on a pig. Hit it right on the shoulder joint. About 2" of penetration and bent over two of the blades on a Thunderhead. Never seen anything like it. Passed another pig early this morning waiting and didn't want to mess up my chances at an axis doe but then none of them showed. However I have two in the freezer right now so it's not like I needed any. BTW, anyone need one????
