Thread says lets "see" the limits. No pic means it didn't happen.

Had to work. So didn't get to go, talked to several hunters here in north Grayson county, not many birds around or killed. Maybe they will come in with the cool front..........

Phone died. No pics.

Day 1, Leg 1, of my 1,000 Mile Dove Opener Odyssey is in the books.

FTW-Rising Star-FTW, dodged thunderstorms and have a limit of birds clean and in the freezer. 250 miles down, 750 to go.

I haven't been seeing much of anything. At the rate I'm going it will take 3 weeks to complete a limit.

We hit the field in Haskell County Thursday afternoon about 3:30. Limited in an hour and a half. Great. Looks real good.

Thursday night, it poured like a cow urinating on a flat rock. Moved quite a few birds around.

Friday morning hunted with my trusty .410. Probably should have gone 20 gauge, given the reduced numbers.
Got 12, mortally wounded several that didn't end up in the bag.

Still, an excellent start to another hunting season in the Great State of Texas!
