Can someone please give me the scoop on these rifles.....accuracy, function, trigger, etc? Wally has screaming deals on the .243 and 30-06, and even though I don't need one, the price has me tempted. Thanks.

I own two (.243 and 308) one Standard and one Predator model. I have been nothing short of amazed with these rifles. For the money I don't think you can beat them. The guns are accurate, action is smooth, trigger is good, detachable magazine and nice recoil pad. The bass are finish on the barrel and stock.

We've run my .308 out to 600 yards on a 12" target.

I had the pleasure of sighting in a friends, son's, Ruger American .243 (combo) inexpensive scope package. I was shooting Hornady American Gunner loads. dang thing held an inch +/- at 100yards with ease.

I'm toying with the idea of getting one of their Ranch Rifles in .223 and a cheap azz Vortex scope for a truck (Subaru Outback) gun. If it gets stolen or confiscated when I shoot somebody and I lose it I won't be out a fortune $$

I bought one in 6.5 CM and am not sorry for it. Very good price. I put an inexpensive Cabelas scope on it because I didn't want to go overboard on this rifle. The function is fine. Trigger is okay, and I am picky on triggers. Once I got a few rounds through it I couldn't believe how well it shot.

I bought one from a gunsmith I know in Missouri that he took on trade for some custom work. I've only shot it about 10 times but it's darn sure very accurate. He even added a Timney trigger. I've been trying to sell mine in the classified with no luck at all I guess because it's a lefty. I thought it would be easy to get my money back this time of the year but not so far. Buy with confidence.

Thanks for the feedback. Not trying to insult anyone's intelligence around here, but in case you didn't know, Wally is closing out the RAR's they have in stock. Even though they may be marked $379, when they are scanned at the register the sale price will be $199......no that's not a misprint.....$199. I don't even need a 30-06 or a 243, but at that price I'm thinking about buying one of each, especially if they shoot minute of deer/hog.

They did the same thing last year. I bought my son a .308 and we haven't even shot it yet. Might have to go get another one at that price.

Good luck finding one!!! I've been to 6 WM's the past 2 days and didn't find a single one.

i have 2 22-250, 308 both American PREDATOR both are very accurate. I would not trade the trigger in either.
the 308 with 18" barrel is amazing.
22-250 with 22" is also amazing
can't think of any rifle i would trade either for.

when the going gets really tough, I sit down and rest

They have several 30-06's (who doesn't "need" one of those laying around?), and several .243's at on of our local WM's, so all I'm waiting on is me to pull the trigger. I would have loved to find a .308 though.
