What do you think does the best job.
I have tried:
Slick 50 1 lube
CLP- like this the least.
frog Lube- ok
Otis dry lube
Terra Gun
2 cycle motor oil - currently testing

Best Lube for AR 15 BCG

Machine Gunners Lube. Every time.

Using Amsoil 10w-30 for a while now, no complaints.

I've got something kind of like that.

I used Mobil One synthetic motor oil in my AR to good effect. Just a little dab, here and there.

I don't really worry too much about what my bcgs are lubed with but just the fact that they are lubed is good. I'm not fighting in afghanistan. I'm just shooting at the range or hunting so anything that keeps the bcg moving a few times is good enough for me.

Of the ones listed CLP, but I actually prefer and use 5w30 synthetic.

This. Anything works pretty much.

Now, if SHTF, I'd go Mobil 1 or almost any syn. motor oil. Don't overthink this!

Rem Oil or whatever. Not much an issue, just clean it every now and then.
