Just thought I'd ask if anyone has any good techniques for cleaning doves. I breast mine like a typical but I can't seem to help having a bunch of feathers left over every time. I'm thinking this year I will finally break down and take some water and pans to clean them off better before hitting the ziplock.

Bend wings back far as possible, use thumbs to rub breast skin and feathers away, use thumb to pull breast bone off at the sternum, pull breast meat off bone, put in bag, clean off stuck on feathers when you get home.
