Labor Day weekend is often the time when things kick into high gear at hunting camps. No question, there will be lots of ATV's, tractors, mowers, and other equipment loaded into pickup beds and trailers for the trip to get a lot of work done. And many a wasp will die, or otherwise get evicted, from box stands.

Will be at the lease with a bit of work as well as dove hunting. Probably kill a hog or 2 and do a bit on the grill. Good times......and watch Texas beat Notre Dame Sunday night.

Thursday, Friday dove hunting on a dove lease close to home do some chores. Friday night go watch the kids play football. Saturday morning dove hunt public land near my property then disc 5 acres at my place, grill some dove and drink some beer. Sunday morning back at public land then go back to camp for beer, grilling and football. Monday slip out early so I can hunt my dove lease on the way home.

Sunday relax and watch football and Monday shoot the bow a little and get ready.

Dove hunt Friday evening if the rains hold off. Oklahoma Football Saturday and possibly some bay fishing on Sunday. Looking forward to the first weekend in a long while where we don't have anywhere definitive to be.
