Well, folks.. been a while. I have had my hands full and busy as all hell. I also have had some bad feet, but I hope to get those working again over this next year so I can go do some quail hunting with ol Erath and Pitchfork. Sorry fellas, been up to my eyeballs in work. I had not even been back to the ranch in five months! I went down last Thursday and came back yesterday. We did a LOT of cooking and eating and setting up wifi stuff.

We are working on a portable wifi access point that is solar powered. We then put it on top of the hill behind the cabin and will add a few more throughout the ranch that pick THAT signal up. That then acts as a "net" over the ranch and relays the signals.

Then we have a camera setup that is also solar powered and cost effective enough to allow us to add live cameras at the feeders.

Still in the testing phase, but working well.

Then, I want to figure out how to take the concept of a cell-triggered hog trap and make it wifi-trigger... then.. all hell shall break loose as I can sit at my cabin and trip that puppy.. lol

Anyway, let's see what we have for pictures.. I will post about a dozen of the best ones wink

We have a LOT more pictures, but you get the idea.. heh.. enjoy!

Sorry.. no idea what is up with this site but the email notifications will come through and then stop and then start... heh

4-6 .. the BIG motha is a Red Stag. The sheep looking things are Mouflon. No idea if either tastes good, never shot one of either.. lol

This last weekend, I made a brisket, 3 racks of ribs, and 2 chickens.... for four of us.. lol

I live to cook more than hunt :P
