After having my place in Dickens county for 5 years with no issues some scum bags stole my 16' x 76" Texas trailer. It is a Black 2011 Tandem axle with a replaced signal light on the right side, with a small bend in the front of left fender. SN 5VNBU162XBT088921 License #DHBG42 They cut my gate chain as they couldn't cut the lock. Also I had a lock on the hitch clamp and I don't think they could have cut that when they stole it.
The local people here are the most decent folks I have ever met and like good neighbors always look out for one another in fact fact the break in was reported by 2 different locals who saw my gate open and were concerned. My insurance deductible is 950.00 and the trailer was worth 1200.00 Doubt I'll get it back but I ask my fellow outdoors friends to keep an eye out as I will pay a reward of 300.00 for it's return as we are now retired and I don't have the ability to get another.

We really need to start killing these folks. Until we hang them high they will keep doing it. Hope you get it back.

Might report to TSCRA they seem to link these guys together on rural property theft pretty regularly.

Post a pic of the trailer when you get a chance. I'm not too far from that area.

Very sorry to hear this, and agree with passthru, these thieves need to be hung. Sure hope you get it back. I'd be checking Craigslist to see if it shows up there.

I'm sorry to here about this. I know it makes you feel angry and even violated.
The trash does this with almost immunity. There is little chance of them being caught and if they are, even less chance of them spending even a hour in jail. We have got to get tougher on this type of crime, and that includes investigation it properly. If a lock or chain is cut, if a locked gate, door, or window broken into, they need to investigate just as if it was a burglary of an occupied dwelling. i don't buy the "not enough money to pay enough officers to investigate rural crime. If there is that much crime in a county, they need to re evaluate thier budgets.
I have had 4 locks/chains cut by thieves and the SO acted as if they were pissed they had to take reports. When our cabin was broken into and ransacked, there was no attempt to look for finger prints and they refused to take a blood sample from where they cut themselves climbing through the broken window.
We all need to practice Whoa more.

A good option for people with equipment on leases is invest in a GPS locator. Just put the locator somewhere on your trailer and if it gets stolen, call the company and they will activate it sending a signal to its current location. The company will then contact the local law enforcement and direct them to it. I think it costs around 15 to 20 bucks a month.
