New to the Austin area and don't have a place to hunt. I've been using the TPWD drawn hunts the last couple of years with some success. I'm trying to put meat in the freezer for my small but growing family. My idea is, after you are done hunting on your land bring me out to trap up your coyotes. Will keep it super quiet dispatching with 22 shorts or dispatch pole. All I ask is permission to take a doe or two depending on my success.
I'm open to feedback. Just trying to feed myself and my family doing what I love.

If I paid for a lease to hunt the property, I would want to hunt the coyotes myself.

Are you a professional trapper? How many yotes per day do you think you could trap/kill on an 1,800 acre high-fenced pasture?

I'm in Wimberley, I have lots of cull deer. I'll take you out later in the season for a doe or cull buck. I have folks from out of town coming to bowhunt. Once they are done I'll have some opportunitys to let you hunt. PM me your info.

Sorry for the really late reply, had a rough fall. That would be quite the job! And as far as numbers, there's a lot of variables there. Density of the animals, is it a livestock ranch, has it been trapped before?
If you have a dead pile where you dump dead livestock, that's obviously a hot spot. We can put snares up where we find them crossing or digging under your fence. And some of my most successful sets have happened after an animal had already been caught at that location, so multiple catches are highly likely but it could take a couple of weeks to make a dent.
Sounds like a fun challenge though. ..where are you located?
