The last sprayer I bought was at Tractor Supply. It was a 25 gallon with a boom. only use it one time a year to spray a 3 acre plot. worked the first year. did not work the second. Not working this year after I replaced a lot of parts. The aggravation is killing me. SO, what sprayer do you use. I need to be able to pull it behind a Kawasaki mule or I guess I could set it up in the bed. Help please....been down there 3 weeks in a row trying to spray and can't get it working. Need another one, but don't want to waste my money this time.

Why doesn't it work? Is it the pump? Most of those have a cheaper electric pump you clip on the battery. If you use it one time a year take the pump off, clean it and store it inside. I had one and replaced the pump a couple of times before I started removing it. Goes a lot longer that way. The tank, hoses and nozzles can all be cleaned. Be sure to blow the nozzles out with a compressor or run a fine wire through them.

I went through a couple before I figured out how sensitive they are. Not sure which one you have but I think the last one I bought was just under $100. I would take it off and store it inside and didn't have much of a problem after that. If it's out of warranty you're probably looking at trashing it and getting a new one.

I've had a 25 gallon sprayer that I bought at Northern Tool for 3 or 4 years. I use it all the time to spray fence lines, around the house,at the deer lease, etc. The key to keeping these type of sprayers running is to always clean them with water after using them, and draining all the lines good afterward.

I strongly suspect your pump is fine. The switch on the power cable that connects to the battery went out on mine. It's a simple inline switch that you can get at just about any hardware or building supply store. The type of switch that you find on lamp cords is most likely all you need, given you have checked the fuse as well. Lamp switch at Home Depot

I had the same problem until I learned to spray every bit of herbicide out of it. I run about 2 gallons of fresh water through it after I'm done spraying fences. I think the surfactant in the poison clogs up the pump and nozzles.

I think the surfactant in the poison clogs up the pump and nozzles. Also the filter that fits on the end of the plastic hose that runs to the bottom of the tank will get clogged. It's easy to full it off to clean it. Other issues are making sure it's getting power.

I've also got the 25 gal northern tool and built a boom for it. Just trouble shoot it...is there power to the switch....is the pump turning on....is the pump primed etc. Going on my 3rd year with it. If you want us to do it...give more information

billybob, I'm having a friend look at it today and if he cannot fix it, I will bring it to you and see what you think. Are you in southlake? Or you can PM me a message if you would like. All I know is it ran fine a year ago. I only use it once a year to spray 3 acres.
