If you've ever had the desire to come up and hunt with us at the BAR73 in the Texas panhandle, here's your shot!
I have one slot that's come available for Thanksgiving week this year. It's a 4 day semi-guided hunt, all inclusive (lodging, meals, field dressing). Our 2016 season price is $1500 for the hunt and $1500 trophy fee ($3K total) for a mature mule deer buck.
References and pics available upon request.

Your pricing seems a bit stange to me, would a small 140 buck be $1500 or $3000, WHERE an WHEN does the trophy fee apply...is a doe $1500 Is the cost $1500 if no deer is shot?? Why not just state TROPHY MULE DEAR HUNTS $3000 okiehuntr

Is this like Africa pricing. $1,500 to hunt the ranch and if you shoot any sized mule deer, it's another $1,500 kill fee?
What sized mule deer have been taken off the ranch? Do you have any pictures?
How big is the ranch and how many other hunters will be there at that time?

Okie and Eddie. We set our pricing up this way for a specific reason. We have a lot of repeat hunters, and we never want a hunter to feel pressured to shoot just any buck late in their hunt. I have over 15 years detailed harvest logs, and ask that every hunter allow our local TPWD biologist to age and score their buck. An average trophy buck on our ranch scores 150 gross B&C. (That is not a guarantee, it's an average. For every 165 buck they'll be a 135). Hunters can shoot as many hogs and coyotes as they want. If they choose not to shoot a buck and want a doe for the freezer well offer up a doe tag at no additional cost. This is a low fence fair chase hunt, but average nearly 90% success rate. This is a good example of what we manage our herd towards. PM me your contact info for more details and pics.
