Each evening, I let my English Cockers out to run around the yard as I am cleaning kennels and feeding the other dogs. Naturally, after being cooped up all day, they run and play. They also pick up caliche rocks and bring them to me to throw for them to retrieve, chew on them, and try to steal the rock from each other.

I just bought a little eight week old GSP, and one evening last week, she pranced over to my little black Bella who happened to lying down, chewing on a rock. Bella barked at the puppy, and the puppy, of course, came scrambling back over to me for reassurance and comfort.

I shook my finger at Bella as I exclaimed,"NO!!, You don't bark at my puppy."

Bella got up, walked over, dropped the rock in front of the puppy, and pushed it over to the puppy with her nose, then sat and watched as the pup chewed on the rock.

If I am lyin' I'm dyin'.

Cockers are awesome. I love mine. Smart little mischievous turd heads.

Sometimes they will surprise you.
