Found this fawn dead about a 100ft off the back porch. It was drug head first into the cedars and had some scraped ground around it. What do you think killed it? deer popcorn

Hated to see the little guy killed, it was born behind my shop and has been hanging around the place since. The dog chases it until his tongue is dragging the ground but I doubt he killed it. Plus he would have drug it on the porch to show it off.

I suppose so but I'm going to put up a couple of cameras to see if I can get a pic of nature.

If something tried to cover it up I'd guess a Bobcat. They are hell on fawns

Bingo. Cats try to hide and cover their kills. Coyotes don't. Setup a cam and you'll get a cat pic tonight.

My first guess would be bobcat. That's their style.

I would think it either just died or a dog killed it. A coyote would have probably taken it with him. A cat would probably at least eaten some of it. A dog would just kill it and then maybe cover it up to some extent. Bites on the rear sound like a dog to me.
