Bow only deer lease in Navarro county. There will be duck hunters on the ranch occasionally when duck season starts. There are hunting areas a good ways from the ponds so not much interference.
Hunting is along a large creek outside the fence of this working ranch. It is not a large area but very thick and is the main passage way for all the game in this area. Hunting on one side of the creek only.
You will need a four wheeler as it is a long way from the road but is accessible in all weather.
Dove hunting is included in this lease. $1000 for one. $1500 for two.

Spoon Not many acres. A long narrow spot along a big creek where the deer are concentrated and where they travel to stay concealed. . The ranch is mostly open cattle grazing land.

About how many huntable acres are we talking about--creek bottom, brush, and timbered acres?

It is a long narrow strip along a big creek. Not sure on the acre count but it is not a lot. The deer (and hogs) are concentrated in this area to stay concealed. It is thick trees and brush. The animals follow trails through the area. Dump some corn out close to the trail and sit and wait. They will come along and stop. The evenings seem to have more movement than the early mornings but there is activity all day long.
There are some large deer in the area as well as a lot of culls. Hogs come through in packs. Some good catch and release bass fishing as well.
This would be a good hunt for a father/son or for an individual that wants to get away from the crowd. It is quite a distance from the road so a 4 wheeler would help.
