Forecast is showing 70-90% chance of rain. Think it still be worth it or should I change my locations on where i plan to hunt? Always hunted Uvalde opening and devided I'd try local this year. Seeing forecast has me second guessing now. Thoughts?

Those guys are wrong more than they are right. Your decision though.
There is time, and you must take it, to lay your hand on your dog's head as you walk past him lying on the floor or on his settle, time to talk with him, to remember with him, time to please him, time you can't buy back once he's gone" GBE

If you can count on anything, it's the 7 day forecast.

You know the chance of rain is going to change hourly for the next week, I don't think some meteorologists could guess the right side of a double headed coin after two chances!

Two jobs in this world that you can be wrong 100% of the time and still get paid. The weatherman and the guy that sits in the office next to me.

As I recall a couple of seasons back it rained right at sunrise for an hour or so on opening day and we had a darn good shoot. Looked more like a duck hunt and the trucks got muddy as can be inside and out but rain didn't damper the hunt. At least not that day.
