Traveling back home to the homeland on our bye week to bow hunt on our place near Throckmorton, and again during Christmas break. Hopefully we'll get some waterfowl in Northern AZ so I can do that during the last week or 2 of the season here. Going to get a start on my slam while I'm here, I've heard there's a good population of Merriam's not too far.

No paid hunts this year. Just whitetail, axis, hog, dove and predators. X2. First time on a lease in TX and couldn't be more excited.

To be honest only one and that depends on the election. If Hillary win's I'll be gutting and guiding. Unfortunately I'm pretty sure she is going to win! I hope I'm wrong. But highly doubt it! VOTE VOTE VOTE AND TELL YOUR FRIENDS TO VOTE!!! OUR COUNTRY DOESN"T NEED THAT!!!

I had a Pere David booked, then it got cancelled by the outfitter two days beforehand, so I spent the money paying off my truck, then the next day he said it was on, but I didn't have the cash anymore. I'm talking to several guys about another Pere David, but haven't committed to any yet. I'm also looking at Nilgai and Scimitar Oryx for myself and does for my wife. She also wants a white fallow, but all of that comes after we take care of some things we want to get done on our home first.
We live out in the country and hunt hogs on our land year round. Whitetail are kind of scarce here, but we'll spend some time out in the blind hoping for something to show up.

Missouri WT and a few spots in NETX for sure, put in for a few TPWD draws so we'll see..
If I send my neighbors a text and ask them to give me feedback on my lawn and plant rye into a giant dong pattern, I'm probably going to get some less than positive feedback. Same goes here.

I'm jealous of everybody hunting so much out of state and those international hunts. I hunted with New Mexico hunting adventures. I shot a decent goat not huge but still a total blast.
