Anyone have luck getting the sandcrane permit checked when buy your Super Combo License. Kids at Academy never can find where to check the crane permit on my license. Always end up carrying two licenses

I ordered everything online and added everything I needed including sandhill crane even though I have never used it..just in case. I got the licenses in the mail 2 or 3 days later. Still waiting on my actual federal duck stamps.

You have to go to a TPWD office to get the sandhill permit. That is what I have done the last 2 years. Do not believe you can get that with your license.

Don't know about before but you can get it online with your licence now. Got mine in my pocket right now!

Been getting mine online wth my license or several years now. Don't know why other than it's free and I just might get invited somewhere. Everywhere I hunt is east of 35 and in a sandhill safe zone.

It's online. You just need to login to your account and add the hunting licence into your cart before the option shows up.

I was diligent about trying to renew my Sand-hill crane permit and the online TPWD was messed up. Decided to go to the store and while @ academy renewing, no luck either. read in the regulations about October and only then I'll be able to do it. Anybody else? This was last week. No biggie if I had to wait but was inconvenienced because why not be able to do it all at once? Reading previous replies looks like smooth for lots of folks. SMH!

If I have already purchased my license, can I still get the permit online?

You can call them and get the Sand hill crane permit... They even mail it... FREE... You do need the existing number on your super combo... No need to go to the office anymore.... If anyone wants to do it on the phone, I have the last two years... The number is...800 895 4248. Just call that number.

You can get it online, over the phone, or at a TPWD LE office. Not over the counter. It's a $5 fee for online or over the phone. Free at LE offices. I had mine August 20.

I got mine free over the phone. They sent it out that day. And they asked if I needed one for anybody else, so I ordered for my son.
