They got me this weekend whilst plowing my food plot. The little *********'s didn't bother me when I hooked up the harrow setting right on top of their lair, (I found this out later bang). I did the dirt work and came back to unhook and BAM, I was set upon by the little fiends. Up my shirt, in my beard, and under my hat I have knots everywhere above the belt.

BOLO for them, they are there! realmad

Had me a decent battle with them suckers a few years ago while clearing some property. Ended up pouring gas down the holeSSSSSS (there were TWO) and then covered each hole with a few 5 gallon buckets full of dirt.

Had some too. Mixed up a bucket of water and dish washing liquid waited til dark and poured it down the hole. Next day not a one flew out. Dug it up and was surprised how big the hive was.

Sometimes it's hard being me! But somebody has to do it.

They do hurt like hell but I have only been stung by one getting it out of the house. They are normally good creatures eating cicadas.

Had a similar thing happen a years ago, but with bumble bees in a ground nest. Moved a stack of cattle panels so we could mow the area. Under the last panel was a hole that looked like it was moving. Next thing I was trying to out run a whole cloud of bumble bees.
