Guys, I need your help.
My headlamp is one of my most vital pieces of gear in my hunting arsenal. My problem is, I'm not exactly loaded financially speaking. I need to find a lamp that is multi functional but won't break the bank.
Features that I find important.
#1 Adjustable angle
#2 Good low light setting
#3 Adjustable beam
#4 Bright as freaking possible
I have had the Energizer Lithium Headlamp and loved it but it broke and now I can't find them anywhere.
I currently have the Boruit lamp that I saw on FB. It is the brightest I've ever had but lacks a lowlight setting or an adjustable beam. I have another cheap throwdown that I keep in my bag but it isn't very bright so I only use it if I lose battery power or some other reason.
What lamps do you guys use? Cost? Pros and Cons of your choice.

I use a petzel (spelling) I've had for about 8 years now. I got it for elk hunts but use for duck also. Its not the brightest, most expensive, least expensive and I'm sure they make a newer model that's better but it was top of the line back then and works. Its not broke so I'm not fixin it.

Got one from HD made by coast. LED, and has all the features you stated. Thinks it's 300 lumen and cost roughy $30

The black diamond icon is about the best headlamp I've ever used, and I've prob gone through 20 headlamps over the years. Petzl also makes a good headlamp. I've had many of them over the years. They are actually the ones who revolutionized the headlamp industry years ago in the mountaineering community. At one time petzl was the only manufacturer of headlamps. I personally wouldn't own anything but a petzl or black diomond.
I've put my icon through all sorts of rugged abuse. (It's been through numerous multi day big wall rock climbing trips in Yosemite nat park and countless rock and ice climbing trips). I use it all the time for duck hunting. Has been dropped and flooded with water and still works great (after cleaning and drying out of course)
The black diamond storm is also very good for less money

I'll second the cree headlamp from above. I have this model and used it all last season. With these I don't have to worry about losing it, breaking it, etc. I figure even with good (pricey) headlamp it's only a matter of time before you drop it, lose it, etc.

I've had this black diamond for several years now and never had any issues. I thought I had lost it and bought a similar rechargeable knock of but it's no where near as bright. Once I found the black diamond again it's all I use and keep the other one for a back up. Here's a link to the one I bought Black Diamond

Surefire maximus all the way. 500 lumen adjustable beam rechargeable. Hands down the best. It's worth the price. I got mine off eBay from a retailer big fish buddy for like 150 or 200. Everyone always asks me when I wear it what it is. I got me one and my dad one for Christmas last yr.

~Yakinthebox Zebra light. Up to 1000 Lms on bright and 800 hours on low. Waterproof and almost bomb proof. Only down side is the 18650 battery cost but that's what gives it the high output and long battery life

Cree headlamps are inexpensive and very bright. You be the king of the trail when heading out to your blind.

The head lamp also runs on AAs and is brighter than you need and only cost $30. The AAs are a big deal for me because rechargeable means no charge and weird batteries are a non starter for me.

http://www.princetontec.com/apexBest one you will find. I have had one for 5 years. Had an issues with it after being under water, sent into them and they replaced it with a new one. No questions asked lifetime warranty. It has a very bright wide beam great for looking at decoy spreads. One thing is make sure to use lithium ion batteries or the high beam won't last more than 4 hunts in really cold temps.
