Who can tell me how to adjust the trigger on a A-Bolt. Would like to get down to less that 3. I think it's at 4+ now.

Get a spring kit by Timney. I think Midway and Brownells carry it. Very inexpensive. Comes with two springs for two different weights. I don't know, off the top of my head, if they make it for all three Abolts, but I put the lighter spring in my Abolt II, and boy is it light. Easy to install, as well.

Mine has an adjustable trigger you literally just turn a screw clockwise or counter clockwise. Yours may be different.

My A-Bolt was chambered for .300WM, and I saw no need to reduce the trigger pull. For safety's sake, I left it as it came.

Kind regards, charlesb

I put the Timney spring in my ABII, I tried to move the adjusting screw but it wouldn't move. The ears on the screw were so small, I was afraid I would break them off. With just the Timney spring, my trigger pull is just under 3#.
