I hunt in choctaw county by lake hugo. I also have a lease in lampassas tx as well. I would rather hunt at our place in oklahoma any day of the week. i have never killed a monster up there, but i have had game camera pictures of some absolute monsters. I also have a place in Arkansas thats on the red river. shouldn't be but about 60 miles from where you are and there are some really nice deer there as well. id just the hope person you are leasing from is row cropping something deer really like such as soybeans.

We are north of Fort Towson in Choctaw county and see a lot of deer. We've got pics of a few really good ones but a bunch of tall narrow racks. Highly pressured area but worth it.
