http://austin.craigslist.org/spo/5737262968.htmlWell, first of all, I don't think there's any deer like that around that area of the hill country. Second, either she doesn't know the definition of a point or she can't count. And third, she can't add because that doesn't add up to 205. What do ya think?

I just saw that they have several other ads in the Austin sporting goods section with other sheds, anywhere from $150 to $750. Sad thing is that they'll probably find some takers.

Not a bad price for a matched set of sheds. Also just says Texas and Texas is a huge state. They are adding in an 18" inside spread in the score and all do when selling them on-line. That is not a bad price. I know a man who sold a 7x7 typical set of Texas sheds for $1500. There are huge collectors of sheds. One collector has a whole barn full of them he collects.

There's plenty of deer like that and bigger in the hill country. Google Record Buck Ranch, Star S, or Shonto. I think a guy shot one that was 500 or 600" off Record Buck. She is saying the sheds are 187 4/8 and counting the rest for spread. I can't say whether if the sheds are 187" but they are big.
She's not getting my money either but there's probably a buyer somewhere. It's probably just a set from a breeder buck

I had no idea people would pay that kind of money for sheds. Learn something every day!

Sheds can go for really good money from what I have learned recently also. I figured that our while asking why someone would pay 6K for a shed hunting dog and people hounded me for it saying sheds can make you that money back within a few days... OOPS.

In my opinion that's cheap considering how much protein it took to get them there.
They make ammo specifically for hunting for a reason!

Remember with sheds you can hold them however you want so that inside spread could be 18" or up to 48" if they are held just right.
