Anyone know of a place or anyone near Arlington I can get some pigeon or quail for training? I don't want to go catch any. I'd just like to go buy a couple.

craigslist NOTE the Game Warden says it is illegal to train dogs on quail out of season unless on a licensed Private Bird Hunting area. I argued they were not being hunted and he said the dog might kill one and upset nesting.
We have pigeons and launchers and quail soon.

If you get non native breeds of quail it's not an issue. The same as hunting an exotic.

We have pigeons and launchers and quail soon. I think they will have a hard time convicting you of hunting out of season for running your dogs where quail are present.

I kept a Johnny house for years and never had a problem with the game wardens.
