checking game cams this weekend and noticed one camera had been moved . Pulled the pics hand had several birds posing for us.

This is in Eastland/Stephens county area:

the closest I can find is maybe a kite ( if you blow the pic up, his eyes really show up well, not on the side like a eagle or hawk but more toward the front like a owl or kite)

I don't know for sure & pic resolution not the greatest

it looks like a little owl. we have quite a few living around here that are really small like that.

Looks like a common sparrow, to me.. The sun is hitting his head just right to make it appear a different color. Kites are bigger birds and even burrow owls are not that small. Just my opinion.. Compare the picture of the Roadrunner on the feeder vs. the 1st picture of the bird in question.

Might be a juvenile Kite. Hard to tell from that pic. I have seen a few smaller owls and adult Kites but never any juveniles.

That bird is around 4" tall. No way it's a owl or kite.
