Bought the plans from gundogsupply.com it's a 4x4 12" off the ground It has 8 nesting boxes with dividers so 16 total. I still need to add the shingles on the roof and a pigeon trap door. How many pigeons could this house hold? Is there anything someone would change?

It should hold 16. This is how I built my trap with PVC.

Just in time.

Quail hunting is like walking into, and out of a beautiful painting all day long. Gene Hill

I hope the welder wire floor will help with that. The best boxes are removable for easy cleaning but we shall see.

That's one good thing about pigeons, their [censored] doesn't stink.
They'll take a bath everyday too if you give them a pan of water.

You might want to add a wire box where they can get outside and drill some ventilation holes. It will get dusty in there. My pigeons started out as dog training tools. I've enjoyed having them as pets and like watching them fly in the evenings. I enjoy the pigeons as much as I enjoy training the dogs.

I did too back when I was working pointers. We had rollers. Those are a blast to watch. Love the PVC trap. Genious
