I have a Polaris with 2 30 watt lights. I want to add or replace them with a LED spot/flood combo. I want to use the existing switch but do not want to overload it. My wiring diagram does not list the amp rating for the switch. Not sure if a relay is necessary but they are cheap enough so just to be safe I was going to use one.

Meh, use the relay. In my experience, Polaris tends to underwire their stuff. Just use the factory switch as the signal for the relay, and never have to worry about it.
