Don't go the post office in Allen, Tx! They have no idea what a federal duck stamp is

Try asking for the Federal Migratory Bird Stamp, I know it's hard to believe but some folks don't duck hunt

Just get it online through TX P&W. Word of warning, though. It comes in its' own plain white envelope with some blue government print that looks a lot like junk mail.

Last year after a lot of phone calling and visits to the post offices,I found that the post office on Mark IV parkway in Fort Worth carried them. And Barney is right, when I asked for a duck stamp they were confused, they understood migratory game bird stamp.

You can also have it added to your license when you buy it in person. Your license will have a temporary 45 day stamp on it while waiting to receive the physical stamp in the mail, usually about 10 days.

Don't yall know where you get your duck stamp is a matter of heated debate here...

Mesquite post office had 4 left....exactly what I needed. So I had the wife pick'em up for me.

Yep. Usually get it in the mail the day after I order or the next.

Be careful if you buy your stamp on the TP&W web site. I noticed the stamp they are offering expires next month

That's just a temporary stamp til the federal stamp arrives in the mail.

Speaking of the federal stamp has anyone watched the new documentary on it yet? Just saw a commercial for it over the weekend.

Just went to Cabelas in Allen. They tried to sell me a duck stamp that expires next month.

S.O.B. I hadn't bought a duck stamp in a while. When did they go up to $28? I think I paid $15 or $17 the last time i bought one. We actually have water this year and when we have water we have ducks so I went ahead and got a stamp in case the kids want to go duck hunt with me.

Last year. I knew it was coming but it still snuck up on me. I have a Lifetime Combo so it's the only thing I have to pay for. I had a $20.00 on me and thought I'd be OK. Good thing I had my checkbook in the truck.

I know the feeling. I got the lifetime stuff too but between me and the boy it still cost me $104 to add duck stamps for both and APH for me.

Doesn't surprise me one bit. That has got to be one of the most worthless post offices in the country.

Yep, same ol same ol.. Just get the fed duck stamp when you get your license, don't make it more difficult than need be. Now the teal tags different story, they are sometimes hard to get, this year I was able to get mine with my license at the Academy on 75 in Plano, they had plenty when I was there but they run out fast!!!
